Doing what we can to help our community

The SRS Raise the Roof Foundation Supports the Pat Green Foundation through a Sponsorship of the 2015 Texas National Golf Tournament

McKinney, TX – July 2, 2015:

The SRS Raise the Roof Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SRS Distribution Inc., recently participated in the Pat Green Foundation’s Texas National Golf Tournament, contributing $30,000 to support the event.  Of particular interest to SRS and its foundation is the support the Pat Green Foundation gives to the U.S. Navy SEAL community, helping them rebuild their lives back in the U.S., after active military deployment. The SEAL Legacy Foundation is one of the beneficiaries of the Pat Green Foundation’s Texas National Golf Tournament, along with the Ben Hogan Foundation, Gladney Center for Adoption and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

“Our relationship with Pat Green and his Foundation started in February when Pat was the headline musical artist at our customer hospitality event at the International Roofing Expo in New Orleans,” Rich Ross, Executive Director of the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation, said. “We quickly realized after learning more about Pat’s Foundation that the causes they support align closely with the causes that the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation supports. We have since built a relationship with Pat and his Foundation to collaborate and support each other’s organizations to make a difference in the lives of others.”

The SRS Raise the Roof Foundation sees support of the golf tournament as a first step in an ongoing relationship to support these causes.  Green and SRS will continue to look for opportunities to partner together to benefit the causes of both the SRS Raise the Roof Foundation and the Pat Green Foundation.

“Pat Green’s golf tournament was a top notch event,” John Bradberry, Senior VP of SRS Distribution Inc., said. “Our customers and employees had a fantastic time, and the best part about the event was that all the money raised went to great causes. We look forward to continuing to partner with Pat and his Foundation on future events.”

The SRS Raise the Roof Foundation contributed to the event by donating $30,000 to play in the tournament, held at The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, CO.  “With the high number of deployments overseas of our Navy Seals, there is a greater need for help when they return to the U.S. and to their daily lives with their families.  By supporting Pat Green and his tournament, we’re able to help these men and women who contribute to the security and freedom our country is blessed with,” Ross added.
